Re-Prom · 1 March 2024

We support parents and carers on low incomes with essential costs when a child is hospitalised with a critical illness. This includes support with food and travel costs, as well as accommodation costs in cases where hospital accommodation is over-subscribed.

Story

My name is Natasha Latham and I am this year’s Head Girl at The Queen’s School, Chester. I am organising a charity prom-related event, Re-Prom, on 1st March 2024, with all proceeds going to Evie’s Gift.

Evie’s Gift is a charity which supports the families of critically ill children with food and accommodation if their child is suddenly taken to hospital, often far from home, throughout the UK. Evie started school with me, aged 4, but her life was cruelly cut short after suffering from a brain tumour.

Re-Prom is an inclusive event for Chester and surrounding area schools, and will feature:

• A fashion show

• Make-up, hair and beauty demonstrations

• New and pre-loved prom dresses, shoes and accessories

• Prom related service suppliers

• Raffle and prizes

This event supports the concept of recycling fashion, rather than wear-once throw-away fashion.

The event is also a great opportunity for community inclusivity, with girls from all backgrounds and walks of life, and making ‘Prom’ accessible to all, irrespective of budget.

Every single penny raised through this event will go to the vital work that Evie’s Gift does.

Thank you, in advance, for supporting this event and Evie’s Gift, it will really make a difference.

Thank you

Natasha
