Ramadan Relief for Gaza

Asalaamu’Alaikum,

Thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page.

I can’t believe we’re over 450 days in to the genocide taking place in Gaza. I was worried my heart may become numb to the images and videos we’re seeing on a daily basis, but the truth is that it hurts as much today as it did in October 2022. This is why I made the intention to fundraise as much as Allah swt allows me to, in order to continue helping our brothers, sisters and children in Gaza this Ramadan.

During the blessed month of Ramadan the Human Appeal team will be working to provide medical supplies to a maternity hospital, prosthetic limbs, establishing an orphanage, as well as continuing to provide food, water, education, counselling and medical care.

The team have already begun to clear the rubble around hospitals and on streets to improve medical access, and they’ll also be providing returnee packs containing essential household items, tents, and container homes, helping families to begin to recover.

The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "Whoever draws nearer (to Allah) by performing any of the (optional) good deeds in (this month) shall receive the same reward as performing an obligatory deed at any other time,” (Ibn Khuzaymah)

I’ve called upon my community to support me in reaching this mammoth goal of £100,000 for this blessed month. Collectively we can always achieve more than we can individually, therefore anything you donate to any of our pages will count towards this goal and Insha’Allah benefit you in this life and the next. Ameen.

Here’s how far your donation can stretch:

£300 – Help to provide a child with a prosthetic arm or leg through two doctor-staff field hospitals. Each child will be treated and able to walk away within one hour

£100 – Contribute to help us rebuild a hospital in Gaza

£96 – Provide clean drinking water to 20 people for an entire month

£95 – Ensure nourishing meals for a family with a month-long food parcel

£50 – Help to provide one person with counselling to heal from their trauma

£40 – Give 5 hot meat-based meals to people facing starvation in Gaza and we’ll DOUBLE YOUR DONATION with 5 more

£36 – Provide five people in Jabalia refugee camp with treatment and medication at our health centre

£30 – Help to provide a phone consultation through our telehealth project
