Melyssa & Catherine’s Skydive for Jersey Cancer Relief

Skydive in April 2024, National Bowel Cancer Awareness Month
As some of you may know, my beautiful mum Tina, sadly passed away in September 2023 after her fight with Bowel Cancer for over 3.5 years.
Since I was a little girl, my mum has always been my inspiration, my compass guiding me in life and most of all, my best friend. She was a selfless person full of love, care, laughter, positivity and beauty - she went above and beyond for me & many of her friends in her life! She truly was, and still, is an angel.
Therefore, Catherine and I are planning on going “above and beyond” in a charity skydive in order to raise money for a charity that helped my lovely mother and two younger brothers over the years - Jersey Cancer Relief
From the 1st January 2024 to April 2024 my personal mission is to lose 10kg+ of weight in order to complete the skydive in April!
Why April? April is National Bowel Cancer Awareness month in the UK. Bowel cancer is the second deadliest cancer in the UK. Over 43,000 adults are diagnosed with bowel cancer every year and sadly over 16,800 adults pass away because of this horrible illness.
It’s our turn get out of our comfort zone and go above and beyond, just like Jersey Cancer Relief did and still do for many patients & their families 🤍🦋
