Story

For my birthday this year, I’m asking everyone to donate a couple of pounds to a charity very close to my heart; Ready Steady Go is a club for autistic children, providing them a safe and inclusive environment to develop social skills and build friendships through supported play.

It also gives parents and carers a friendly and welcoming space to connect with others experiencing similar challenges, providing much needed care and support that’s judgement free.

Ollie and I attend the weekly sessions run by Ready Steady Go and it feels like we’ve gained a second family through the club. It’s been life changing and so I’d love for my friends, family and acquaintances to help support the cause. At the moment, they are hoping to raise enough funds (£8000) to buy a mobile interactive sensory projector and interactive bubble tubes to enhance the sensory room.
