Story
I’ll be running the Royal Parks Half Marathon with Chain of Hope, a charity that brings life-saving heart treatments to children in war-torn and developing countries — from Gaza to Yemen and beyond.
Here’s the honest truth: I hate running. I’m not a runner by nature. But that’s exactly why I’ve chosen this challenge. I’m fit and athletic in other ways, and I’ve wanted to train for something meaningful. Especially now, with so much conflict in the world, it’s clearer than ever how much privilege we have — and the responsibility to use it. So I’m choosing to step (painfully) into discomfort, knowing that children waiting for urgent heart surgery in places like Gaza don’t get to choose comfort or ease.
By supporting me, you’re not just helping me survive 13.1 miles (pray for me!) — you’re helping Chain of Hope bring hope, healing, and futures to children who need it most.
