Soooo I have signed Alex Ffrench and I up to take part in my industry charity The Light Fund's 5-3-1 Peaks Challenge of climbing up Snowdon in September.

While we will 'only' climbing one mountain some of the other hardy souls on this trek will be ascending Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, Snowdon, Carrauntoohil, and Slieve Donard over 5 days.

Every year the great and good people of the Licensing Industry step forward and pledge their valued time and resource to help support The Light Fund with increasingly bizarre and exhilarating challenges that have to date raised over £2M for charity!

If you know me you will know I am not one of life's natural mountain climbers (at all) so this will definitely be a bit of a personal challenge. All monies raised go to The Light Fund which has raised over £2.2 million and funded hundreds of different charity projects since 2004.

I've even got walking poles and everything.

So if you can spare any pennies for donations to spur us on we would be incredibly grateful (and I promise I won't use any money to summon a helicopter to rescue me from the first mild incline).
