Women's 10K Glasgow · 18 June 2023 ·

Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

Hi Everyone,

On the 18th of June I will be taking part/running the 2023 Women’s 10k in Glasgow.

I’ve decided to run this year in aid of the MS Society, a charity very close to myself and my families hearts.

My Auntie Lesley sadly lost her battle to MS at just the age of 30 on 28th July 2012.

For those who are unaware, Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a lifelong condition that affects the brain and nerves.

Nearly 11 years on from her passing, there is still no cure to this condition and the emptiness in our hearts still remains.

In memory of my Auntie Lesley, I’ve decided to take part in the event and try raise as much as I can for the charity, to go towards providing support and treatment to those affected and hopefully one step closer to a cure🤞🏻

Any donation would be greatly appreciated no matter how big or small.

Thanks in advance for taking the time to read. This one’s for you Auntie Lesley 👼🤍
