Colleagues and clients of RBC Brewin Dolphin are taking part in the Blenheim Triathlon which consists of a 750 meter open water swim, 19.8k bike ride and finishing up with a 5.4k run. Blenheim welcome competitors and spectators every year to the stunning surroundings of Blenheim Palace to take part in one of the most spectacular triathlons in Europe.

We are looking to help the RDA fundraise for the new horse so please give what you can towards this amazing cause.

The carriage driving group is a very happy gang that enables disabled adults to not only go out into the beautiful local countryside on a horse- drawn carriage, but also to get actively involved with the horses. They are encouraged to learn to care for and groom the horses, as well as learning to drive the carriage itself…(with dual control reins! rather like a learner driver).

Currently, we have two horses, that are owned by the RDA. One named Drummer, is due for retirement any minute, as he is in his late twenties. We have a place booked for him at a lovely home for retired working horses, and are frantically searching for an appropriate replacement horse. It costs approximately £16,000 a year to keep the horses at the yard and with feed, rent, insurance ,vets , farrier etc….and the cost of a new horse, which will be on top of this the price is mounting up.
