Twycross Zoo is a conservation charity, working to save endangered species around the world. This includes some really cool UK native species such as the beautiful Kentish glory moth and the hazel dormouse, and some from further afield such as the Eastern black rhino and Sumatran tiger!

I am running to raise money for our Kentish glory moth conservation project in partnership with Butterfly Conservation. Any donations, large or small, will be of great help to protect this species, that is currently extinct in England.

I have never run a half marathon before, but have been following a clear training plan, to help get me there. It has also been great to have this target to work towards, helping to encourage me to get outside during the cold dark winter days.
