We're embarking on a remarkable journey, paddling the Devizes to Westminster International Canoe Race (DW) in honour of someone close to our hearts who faced a challenging battle with prostate cancer. This personal challenge is not just about conquering the longest non-stop canoe race in the world, but also about raising funds and awareness for Prostate Cancer UK.

The DW race, often referred to as 'The Canoeist's Everest,' has been a symbol of endurance and determination since its inception in 1948. Starting in Devizes, Wiltshire, we will navigate along the picturesque Kennet and Avon Canal until it merges with the majestic River Thames at Reading. From there, we'll follow the river's course all the way to Westminster in London, covering a gruelling distance of 125 miles and portaging 77 locks along the way.

This incredible challenge will push us to our limits, requiring over 20 hours of non-stop paddling. But every stroke we take will be fuelled by our commitment to supporting those affected by prostate cancer.
