Story

Hello! I’m Rebecca, proud mum to Oliver (age 5)

In April 2026, I’ll be running the London Marathon 2026 (26.2 miles!!) to raise money for the National Autistic Society (NAS) - because people like Oliver deserve understanding, support, and the chance to thrive.

Why I’m running:

Oliver is bright, funny, and wonderfully himself. He also faces a world that often isn’t designed with autistic people in mind. From sensory overload to social expectations, everyday things can be harder than they need to be.

I’m running to help change that - to build kinder, more accessible schools, services, and communities where autistic people are accepted and supported.

Why the National Autistic Society?

NAS is the UK’s leading autism charity. They:

- provide information, advice and family support

- train schools and workplaces to be more autism-friendly

- campaign for better services and understanding

Your donation helps them reach more people, earlier, with better support.

How your donation helps (examples)

- £10 could help answer a call to the helpline from a family in crisis.

- £25 could contribute to resources that help teachers support autistic pupils.

- £50 could help fund training so more public spaces become autism-friendly.

- £100+ powers campaigning and specialist services that change lives.

Please donate if you can

Every pound genuinely makes a difference. If you’re not able to give right now, a share of this page is also a huge help.

Remember - If you’re a UK taxpayer, please tick Gift Aid - it adds 25% at no extra cost.

Thank you for supporting Oliver, our family, and autistic people across the UK. Your kindness means the world to us.

Rebecca & Oliver
