Story
As many of you know, we sadly lost our beloved Jaime last June to SADS (Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome).
Over the past year, my family and I have been incredibly grateful for the support we have received from the CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) charity.
Thanks to their help, we have all had the opportunity to be screened, something we’re very thankful for.
While the walk we’re doing may not be an ultra marathon, it means a lot to us. We’re hoping to raise some money in Jaime’s memory to help CRY continue supporting other families, just as they’ve supported ours.
Any donation, no matter how small, would be deeply appreciated. Thank you for helping us keep Jaime’s memory alive by making a difference for others.
A bit about CRY...
Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions.
With your donation, CRY can reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD) by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young.
By supporting CRY you will help save young lives from these potentially fatal cardiac conditions.
