Story
I managed to run 100km in January, and from achieving that I have decided to challenge myself to hit 100km every month in 2024. Although I'd like to do this as a personal challenge for myself on the lead up to getting married, I thought it would also be a good opportunity to use my wee legs to raise some money for charity. I believe in the work that "Young Lives Vs Cancer" do and ran 100 miles on March last year to fundraise for them. I have chosen this charity again as they do great things for families and I'd love to be able to support that.
Any and all donations are greatly appreciated. 2024, year of the runaway bride... 🏃🏼♀️
Words from Young Lives Vs Cancer -
When a child is diagnosed with cancer life becomes full of fear, for them and their family. Fear of treatment, but also of families being torn apart, overwhelming money worries, of having nowhere to turn, no one to talk to.
At Young Lives vs Cancer, we help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. We’ll face it all together – but we can’t do it without you.
