I'm running the Edinburgh Half Marathon on the 26th of May 2024 and have chosen Perthshire Gundog Rescue (PGR) as the charity I'd like to raise money for.

This is a big challenge for me as it will be my first half marathon!

PGR is a charity close to my heart as it is where I got River from, almost 5 years ago now! River was due to be put to sleep for 'severe aggression' as a puppy and it if wasn't for Carol (founder of PGR) this is where Rivers story would have ended.

As fate would have it, Carol took River in and 4 weeks later River came to live with me and has never looked back. River has been a huge part of my running journey as it is her second favourite thing to do after grouse and pheasant beating!

PGR's job is never ending and the dogs that need help outweigh the resources out there to help them. Please donate whatever you can so that PGR can continue to help dogs like River.
