For over 30 years, staff at Nightingale House Hospice have created an environment that gives patients and their loved ones quality time to spend together.

The day of the skydive, marks 4 years since my wonderful and beautiful mum and best friend died. It’s been 3 years since my brother died and coming upto 17 years since my wonderful dad died.

The hospice only cared for my mum for 3 days, but i cannot thank them enough in that short space of time for the support, love, and dignity they provided for her and for my family, following the support I have received afterwards to help deal with all losses.

One thing I’ve learnt is that life is short and no one knows what is around the corner. My grief journey hasn’t been easy, but I’m sure this experience will continue to help me to grab opportunities and enjoy life! I know my mum would be saying “what on earth are you doing that for!!” So what better way to celebrate her life, my dad and brothers, by jumping out of a plane!
