Dad requested that funeral flowers are from family only and asked instead that donations were made to one of his supported charities. We have chosen to fundraise for the Lake District Foundation.

Those who knew dad well will know that he was an avid hiker and that the Lake District was one of his favourite places in the world. He enjoyed many, many trips there and climbed every single peak.

The Lake District Foundation fundraises for projects across the Lakes, helping it to remain the very special place that it is.

Depending on how much we are able to raise, the Lake District Foundation will install a plaque in memory of Dad on a post, bridge or bench in the Lakes - a very fitting tribute for our fell loving friend ❤️
