Story
This year, I’m incredibly proud (and a little nervous!) to be running the London Marathon in support of War Child UK.
I was meant to take on the challenge last year, but an injury stopped me from making it to the start line. That makes this year even more meaningful—I’m so excited and grateful to finally be able to run, and to do it for such an important cause.
War Child UK is the only specialist charity dedicated to supporting children affected by conflict. For over 30 years, they’ve worked tirelessly to ensure that no child’s life is torn apart by war. They reach children when they need it most—keeping them safe, helping them learn, and supporting them to cope with trauma while building a brighter future.
They don’t just provide immediate support—they stay with children throughout their recovery, campaign for lasting change, and empower young people to stand up for their rights.
Every mile I run is for children whose lives have been disrupted by conflict. Any donation, big or small, will help War Child continue their life-changing work around the world.
Thank you so much for your support—it really does make a difference.
