I am running the London Landmarks half marathon on behalf of ELFT Charity. I am delighted to represent Specialist Children and Young People's Services (SCYPS) to raise money for the charity where I work, which supports initiatives and projects that NHS money can not fund.

In our service ELFT Charity has supported our children's continuing care team to run a wellbeing support group for parents/families of children who are diagnosed with HIE (hypoxic ischaemic encephalopathy). This group provides an opportunity for families to meet other families, to talk to professionals within the multidisciplinary group and provide a safe space with nurses on site for them to have a cuppa and a break from their intensive caring role.

This also forms part of my #12in12 challenge, I am undertaking a different fundraising challenge every month throughout 2025. April is #Challenge4 🏃🏽‍♀️
