I am excited to share that I will be participating in the Shine Full Marathon (26 Mile)) Night Walk in London on 20th September, followed by the Hastings Half Marathon on 5th October.

This personal challenge means so much to me, and I would be incredibly grateful for any support you can provide through a donation to RSPCA Sussex East and Hastings Branch (Bluebell Ridge). Your generosity would give me a huge boost as I take on these events.

Although Bluebell Ridge Hastings is part of the RSPCA, it is a self-funding charity that truly needs everyone's support to care for the wonderful cats in their shelter. They often run low on essential supplies such as cat food, kitten formula, cat litter, bedding, and medical supplies. Any donation you can make would be immensely appreciated and will directly help these beautiful animals.

Having volunteered at Bluebell Ridge for over a year now, I have witnessed firsthand the love and kindness that fills this place. Each week, I dedicate one morning to cleaning the cat pods and cattery, forming bonds with all the lovely cats who are waiting for their forever homes. On Friday afternoons, I spend time with them—fussing over them, playing with them, or simply sitting quietly with the more nervous ones to help them feel safe.

Working alongside such friendly staff and fellow volunteers is a true pleasure. Countless cats have been rescued, cared for, nursed back to health, and re-homed during my time here. One special cat named 'Soup' (who is in the page cover photo with me) captured my heart when I first started volunteering. He was shy and scared due to a difficult start in life but gradually learned to trust us all. I brought him home last June and he has transformed into our beloved 'Jax,' who is now a loving and much loved member of our family.

There are so many more beautiful cats like Jax who will benefit from Bluebell Ridge's efforts and find their happy endings thanks to your support.
