Story
This year, I’m taking on the challenge of the Royal Parks Half Marathon, and I’m running every mile in honour of my beautiful Auntie Catherine, who sadly passed away after living with Down’s syndrome.
Auntie Catherine was one of the kindest, most joyful souls you could ever meet. Her laughter, her spirit, and her unconditional love left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her. She taught me — and so many others — what it really means to love without limits and to live life to the fullest.
I’m running not just in memory of her, but to raise awareness and support for people living with Down’s syndrome today. Every step I take is for greater inclusion, for better opportunities, and for celebrating the incredible contributions that people with Down’s syndrome make to our world every day.
If you’re able to, please consider donating. Your support will mean the world — not just to me, but to so many families like mine. Let’s run this race together, in memory of Auntie Catherine and in celebration of every person living with Down’s syndrome.
