Rebecca's Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge

Children in Need Yorkshire Three Peaks · 20 September 2024
On Friday 20th September, Team Pudsey is taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, hiking the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres), Whernside (736 metres) and Ingleborough (723 metres), in under 12 hours.
Every step of this challenge is making a difference to the lives of children across the UK. BBC Children in Need believes that every child should have the chance to thrive and be the best they can be.
Sadly, far too many are going without. Together, we can provide the essentials children need to grow up healthy and happy. The ongoing cost-of-living crisis is stretching family budgets to the limit and making it more difficult than ever to afford items such as clothing, beds, or appliances. As a result, it’s pushing more and more children into poverty.
Money raised by the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge could support projects like our Emergency Essentials programme, to bring vital items to children living in poverty
