15 years ago we were told Mum (then in her 50’s) had Bowel cancer. We were told she would need to have a big operation to remove the tumour amongst other things. Thank god all went well and she’s still with us now.

Roll on 2024 and Dad was diagnosed with Bowel cancer. Another operation and more worry. He has made a great recovery and we are positive for the future.

I’ve decided to run Brighton Marathon next year in April to raise vital funds for Bowel Research UK
