We are a group of children from Wells Cathedral School — Isla S, Emma G, Alex D, Leo DC, George D, Oliver P, Max HB, Eliza LJ, Olly S, Oscar DC, Noah D, Gabe H, Robbie D, Will LJ, Will M, Carys W, William P, Cleo Y, Audrey N, Emmott N, Cordelia H, Bea H and Lenny,

On Sunday 7th September, we’ll be cycling from Wellow to Bitton and back — a total of 24 miles (40km) — to raise money for Child.org, a charity that works in Kenya to make pregnancy and birth safer for mums and babies.

Every year, too many mums and newborns die from problems that could be prevented with the right care. Child.org run Pregnancy Support Groups, where mums-to-be come together to learn vital health information, make safe birth plans, and get help to reach hospitals when they need them. These groups can literally save lives.

By sponsoring us, you’ll be helping Child.org reach more families, so that more babies can celebrate their first birthday — and more mums can watch their children grow up healthy.
