Dad and I are taking part in the Totton Santa Run and are hoping to raise £100 for Solent Sharks wheelchair rugby club. Solent Sharks are a charity who support people with disabilities and provide them with the opportunity to participate in wheelchair rugby.

Solent Sharks have warmly welcomed me into the club. They have been a life saver. They have not only supported my physical health, improving my fitness, but they have also been a life line for my wellbeing. I'm so grateful for the friendship they've extended and support I've received. I never thought I'd be able to participate in wheelchair rugby whilst living with a life threatening illness. How wrong I was! This team are amazing!

Solent Sharks are a charity and therefore, rely heavily on kind donations to fund an extensive array of specialist equipment including wheelchair rugby chairs. When I first started, Sharks equipped me with a chair, uniform, gloves and tape. Without this support I simply wouldn't have been able to afford to participate.
