Story
I am running the London Landmarks half marathon to support the Anthony Nolan charity, who save and improve the lives of people with blood cancer and blood disorders.
My beautiful friend Sacha was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia in March last year. As part of her treatment, she underwent a bone marrow transplant and Anthony Nolan played a huge part in finding her donor. Sacha has recently been given the fab news that her bone marrow biopsy is completely clear, which would never have been possible without Anthony Nolan.
There is a huge need for bone marrow donors and they are actively encouraging people to sign up, especially people of colour. It really is so quick and easy to sign up so I encourage anyone that can to do so!
I couldn’t be prouder of Sacha and how she has overcome what has been an unimaginably tough year for her, and also her incredible parents, who have supported her every step of the journey. 🤍
Anything that you can give would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you😁 X
