Mourne 77s Challenge ⛰️ · 24 February 2024

We use highly trained search dogs to look for vulnerable missing people and actively promote mental health awareness in the Community. We specialise in Urban Search and Rescue, wide area search and drowned victims. The team is made up of 20 volunteers and 9 search dogs on call 24/7.

Story

K9 Search and Rescue Northern Ireland is an outstanding charity with their volunteers dedicating their time and effort into locating missing and vulnerable indidviduals within the local community and internationally. Two of these volunteers are my Husband Todd and one of our dogs Storm 🐶 Therefore I witness what it takes to ensure everyone’s loved ones are found! 💙💛

I will be completing the Mourne Mountains 77s Challenge on the 24th February 2024. This consists of climbing to the top of the 7 highest mountains in the Mourne Mountains within one day! 🙈

I will be completing this challenge solo which will be both mentally and physically challenging whilst raising money for a fantastic charity who are unable to operate to the best of their abilities without the support of the local community and through vital fundraising.

The Mountains are outlined below:

Slieve Donard 853m ⛰️

Slieve Commedagh 765m ⛰️

Slieve Bearnagh739m ⛰️

Slieve Meelmore687m⛰️

Slieve Meelbeg708m ⛰️

Slieve Binnian747m ⛰️

Slieve Lamagan704m ⛰️

Please donate if you can, the money raised will go directly to helping equip K9 Search and Rescue to do what they do best which is locating missing loved ones within Northern Ireland and further a field. 💙💛
