World Down Syndrome Day is a chance to celebrate people with Down syndrome for who they are. Valued, loved and respected members of our families, schools and communities.
Why supporting DSUK matters
Down Syndrome UK believes people with Down syndrome should be seen, supported and celebrated at every stage of life.
From welcoming new parents and supporting early development, to helping families navigate school and the transition to adulthood, DSUK's work is shaped by the real experiences of families in our community.
The funds raised around World Down Syndrome Day help DSUK continue this work and grow the services families rely on.
They help us reach more parents at diagnosis, provide practical programmes that support children’s development, and equip professionals with the knowledge they need to support pupils with Down syndrome to thrive.
