I am running this half marathon on behalf of my gorgeous and brave Princess …

Miss Mollie Rose Murphy 💜

As you know Mollie attended the Seashell college and now is employed by this fantastic place as their “ Fundraising and Engagement Ambassador” for which we are all immensely proud of her.

Mollie desperately wanted to complete this run to raise money herself but, sadly those legs just refuse to move ( despite 25 years of physiotherapy, hydrotherapy and endless stretching 😂😂😂😂) Anyway that doesn’t distract Mollie. So Mollie being Mollie and determined she WILL raise funds for her beloved Seashell has asked me to run it on her behalf.

Yes, I nearly choked, me running 13 miles 🥴 but, Mollie has NEVER in 25 years ever asked me for anything (okay apart from the odd takeaway curry or McDonalds 😂) so how could i refuse.

So any money you pledge will be presented to Seashell in honour of Mollie.

Our mission is simple, to transform the young lives of children and young adults who have the have most complex disabilities, but this is only made possible thanks to our amazing supporters. To enable us to offer the children and young adults we support with the best experiences, we require funding to improve our facilities, specialist equipment, additional enrichment activities, extracurricular clubs and opportunities to have fun. We believe in offering tailored family support both to Seashell parents and the wider community. To do this we require funding for family experiences, specialist support, training, advice, family support roles and short breaks. With your support, we can achieve truly life-changing opportunities for children and young adults with the most complex needs.
