This year, we are excited to take on the Great North Run challenge! After a couple of years away from running, we are ready to tackle the half marathon together. This is quite a challenge, but with determination and support, we know we can achieve it.

We have chosen to raise funds for WellChild this year. WellChild Children's Nurses provide essential care and practical support to children and young people who require long-term or complex care. Their work is crucial in enabling children to leave the hospital and be cared for at home, significantly reducing the practical, emotional, and financial impact on families.

WellChild is also dedicated to funding high-quality, innovative projects that positively impact seriously ill children both now and in the future. One such initiative is WellChild's Helping Hands programme, which continues to thrive by collaborating with volunteers from various companies and organizations across the country. These volunteers bring their enthusiasm and skills to tackle essential projects in the homes of children facing serious illnesses—projects like bedroom and garden makeovers that can transform a child's environment.

As we prepare for the Great North Run on 7th September 2025, we invite you to join us in making a difference. Our target is to raise £560 for this incredible cause.
