A Royal Navy Nursing Officer, Military Wife and mum to 3 little children. I am taking on a Sahara Trek to raise money for the amazing Aggie's charity. Sand, sweat and no nappies, hurrah!!

Having had 3 children over the last 6 years, continued my career in the Royal Navy and parented solo for the 761 days my husband has been deployed overseas (since Feb 2020). I have had little time for any adventure of my own. As my husband is working in the UK this year (for the first time in 8 years). I am taking the bull by the horns and letting him do some solo parenting whilst I step out and get sandy, all for a great cause.

I live in Lympstone, Devon and currently work with the Royal Marines. There are lots of military families in this area, many of whom would have been supported by Aggie's during tough times. Military life is often plagued by change, house moves and isolation away from family support.

Aggie's offers the cup of tea and warm chat when you need it, with staff who really understand the complicated challenges military life brings.
