On Sunday 5th July 2026 I will be running the Evesham 10k to raise money for Campden Home Nursing. This charity has supported family members, friends and neighbours of mine over the years and this run will be for all those who have called upon their compassion and care at the time. All their care is free of charge and rely upon donations.

This will be a personal challenge for me having not run for almost 10 years so do say hi if you see me out and about running!

Independent Charity Giving Compassionate End-of-Life Care in Patients’ Own Homes.

We provide end-of-life care by registered nurses for people who wish to remain at home in their final days. Our highly qualified nurses deliver personalised care directly in patients' homes, ensuring dignity, comfort, and peace during this important time.

For over 35 years, we have supported the community with a trusted Hospice at Home nursing service, caring for patients and their families across:

Chipping Campden, Broadway, Moreton-in-Marsh, Lower Quinton, Evesham, Pershore, and Bredon.

Our services include:

• End-of-Life Nursing Care at Home: Highly qualified, registered nurses provide gold-standard personalised care for patients in their own homes, day or night.

• Bereavement Counselling: One-to-one counselling sessions to help individuals process their grief in a confidential and supportive environment (aged 13+)

• Bereavement Support Groups: Informal group sessions offer ongoing emotional support in a safe, understanding space.

• Play Therapy for Bereaved Children: Therapeutic one-to-one sessions for children aged 4–13 years to help process emotions and navigate grief through play and art techniques.

• Well being Support We provide activities such as relaxation sessions, art and craft workshops, Men in Sheds, gardening and community lunches to enhance well-being.

Jecca’s House in Chipping Campden is a base for bereavement counselling, well-being activities, and the administration of our services.

Our services are all free, but donations are gratefully received to help us continue our work in the community.

Campden Home Nursing is an independent local charity based in Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire, founded in 1990.

They give seamless support; Serious Illness Support for those living with a life limiting illness; Hospice Care at Home, for patients who choose to be nursed at home at the end of their lives; and Bereavement Services for bereaved children and adults. All are free of charge.
