Story

PSP & CBD are complex neurological conditions that progressively affect movement, balance, vision, speech, and swallowing. Life expectancy from the onset of symptoms is on average seven years. 60% of people are initially misdiagnosed and it takes on average three years to get a diagnosis. There are no treatments, no cure and no national standards of care.

There is so much we need to achieve at PSPA from improved diagnosis to treatments and better care and we need support to do that. I have been so moved by what I have seen over the last two years as CEO at PSPA that this year I will be walking 100km (that's 62 miles in old money) over two days, along the Thames Path to help raise funds. I hope by doing this walk I will inspire others to help raise the funds we need to create a better future for everyone with PSP or CBD.

My training starts next week in the Lake District, give me a boost by donating to an important cause.
