Story

In 2022, our colleague and friend Sam Hayden-Harler was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) - a progressive, life-shortening condition with no known cure. Since then, Sam has faced the unimaginable with courage, humility, and an unrelenting drive to make a difference.

Not only has he continued working full-time at Sedgwick, achieving industry qualifications and delivering exceptional results for clients, but he’s also become a powerful advocate for the MND community. From speaking out to raise awareness to serving as the UK representative for the International Alliance of ALS/MND, Sam is simply the most incredible human being.

This page is dedicated to supporting Sam in achieving his bucket-list goal to raise £50,000 for the MND Association, whose work supports people like him and helps bring us closer to a world free from MND. Whether you know Sam personally, professionally, or, like us, have been deeply moved and inspired by his story, please help us honour his extraordinary contribution by supporting the cause closest to his heart.

Thank-you!
