Story
In May of 2025 myself and my family lost our gorgeous baby girl, Amber. A pain that is almost unbearable.
We want to turn our heartache and pain into something positive, for Amber and also to make a difference going forward.
Myself and my brother (and a few friends joining along the way) are doing The 10-Y-Fan challenge in May of 2026 (Pen Y Fan 10 times in 24 hours) as a way of raising money towards research that will go towards preventing and curing animal cancer.
All of the money raised will specifically go towards research into Hemangiosarcoma. A cardiac tumour which is an aggressive form of cancer that develops from blood vessels. From the first symptom Amber presented to the day she passed, was a month. A single month. This cancer is horrendous and needs to be stopped.
This research can also help towards preventing / curing cancer in humans too. Far too many people are affected by this horrendous disease and the more research that goes into it, the better.
