Story
I'm fundraising for Bright Beginnings because I believe investing in the success of children and families in my community. Roughly 90% of a child's brain is fully developed by the age of five, with gaps in learning becoming more difficult to remedy as children enter school. This is why the work of Bright Beginnings is so important.
BBI’s two-generation approach supports families in five core areas: 1) early childhood learning; 2) post-secondary education and employment pathways for parents; 3) building economic assets; 4) health and well-being; and 5) accruing social capital. BBI provides high-quality, accredited, and free early childhood education for children while also empowering parents with the knowledge and skills to be their children’s first and best teachers, to have economic stability and mobility, and to be mentally and physically healthy.
Will you join me in supporting the DC community on their journey to success?
