Story
On the 3rd April 2017 my life changed forever, when my mum lost her battle with cancer at the young age of 61.
After 4 years of fighting and after being able to witness the birth of her first grandchild, she closed her eyes and the sun set.
Now, it's my chance to express my gratitude and thank to those at St Luke’s Hospital by participating in 'Strictly St Luke's 2026.'
Launching on the 6th of November 2025, this event will see me partnered with a professional dancer (mum help them) as I learn three different dances—an experience that will undoubtedly push me out of my comfort zone.
My goal is to raise a minimum of £1,000 for St Luke's Hospice; by reaching this I will be rewarded 10 points towards my performance score. If I can reach £2,000, that will double my points! For those who have witnessed my dancing skills, you know I could use all the help I can get!
The live show is set for March 21st, 2026. Tickets start from just £25 per person or you can gather friends and family and make a night of it by booking a table for ten at only £30 per person.
All of us have either been affected or know someone who has been touched by cancer, dementia, and other life-altering illnesses; I’m doing this for not just my Mum and Nan but for all of our friends and family.
Your support means everything. Please consider donating whatever you can—every penny counts.
And remember “keep dancing”
