Story
For the first couple of weeks of July Graham will be attempting to cycle just over 1450 miles around the North of France and back up to Llandudno in North Wales, camping along the way as part of the Pan Celtic Cycle Ride. He will then be cycling another 750miles from Paris to Brest and back to Paris in August.
As he cycles back to Llandudno he will be cycling past several of Bec's churches as she is the Mission Area leader of Denbigh Mission Area.
Denbigh Mission Area is a group of 11 churches in and around Denbigh. They are funded entirely by donations from the local congregations and the wider community, for which we are always very grateful.
Where will my donation be used?
By giving a donation to the Mission Area you are funding not just our clergy to be present for Sunday services, but also for funerals, weddings and baptisms. To ensure that each of the buildings (all grade 1 and 2 listed and 2 currently needing new roofs) are able to remain open and well maintained, so that anyone is able to enter and make use of the silence to aid private prayer or contemplation. To enable pastoral care in our communities, by visiting people who are ill, or lonely, or bereaved, along with running activities for people who are lonely or isolated in our rural villages, or for families. To maintain close links with our schools through taking assemblies and school visits to our churches. To allow us to bless members of our community who are struggling, such as through the provision of hampers to families in need.
