Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page for the Scottish Refugee Council.
The Loch Ness Marathon is a milestone this year as I have travelled through Scotland and settled here.
This is breathtaking running country and has never disappointed.
The Tay at Dunkeld is the first place, anywhere in the world, whose early morning beauty has stopped me mid-stride. Glasgow's fantastic bakeries made a few end-of-run sprints much easier. A highland bull standing his ground in the far north made me rethink mine for the first time and a gym treadmill in Thurso became a safe place for nerves and knees, also a welcoming space. But I'm uphill and into the wind again for the final month of training and can see the start line in my mind.
Thank you for whatever you can give!
