Story
Thank you SO MUCH for supporting St Luke’s Walkies Challenge! This walk is more than just an event - it is a chance for one person and their K9 companion to come together, take meaningful steps and help make a real difference for people who need compassionate care.
At St Luke’s, every journey matters. While some support is received from the government, the hospice must still raise the majority of its £6.6 million annual running costs through fundraising and the incredible support of wonderful people in the amazing community.
Since 1988, St Luke’s has been providing specialist, palliative care and support to local people, supporting them in ways which go beyond the scope and funding of the NHS. Support begins from the moment someone is diagnosed, through to palliative care and ultimately end of life care.
Your support truly makes a difference — thank you for helping us continue to provide compassionate care to those who need it most.
St Luke’s Walkies Challenge takes place from 1st to 30th September 2026 and every kilometre walked helps bring in much needed support. Please give what you can to help St Luke’s continue this important work - your donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference.
