Story
Woof! 🐾 I’m Milo, the Learning Space Therapy Dog.
Usually, my job is to offer a calming paw and a listening ear to young people struggling with anxiety. But on the 17th May I’m swapping the therapy room for the muddy trails of Shalford Park!
The Challenge: I am taking part in the Rotary Guildford Sponsored Charity Walk. I’ll be walking 10km (that’s 60,000 dog steps!) to support the Learning Space 60 FOR 60 Campaign.
My human colleagues are coming along too (mostly to hold the lead and carry my treats).
Why I’m walking: I see firsthand how much young people need support right now.
£10 buys me a lot of treats... but it also helps buy resources for our therapy rooms.
£60 is the magic number. It unlocks a full "60 minute marvel"—a specialist 1:1 session for a young person who needs to turn a corner.
Please sponsor my little legs. My goal is to unlock 10 hours of support (that’s £600!).
Love and licks, Milo 🐶 (and his human assistants Rebecca and Cristina)
