Story
This is exciting, and a little daunting. I am very happy to say that I’ll be running the 2027 London Marathon for Surfers Against Sewage!
I love to run and it’s been a bit of a life goal for me to one day run the London Marathon.
I also love to surf and want to do anything to make sure that future generations can enjoy our oceans too.
Surfers Against Sewage are a brilliant grassroots charity who work to educate, monitor and campaign against plastic and sewage pollution in the UK’s oceans and rivers. As someone that grew up by the sea and runs annual retreats on the Cornish coast, it’s a cause that feels very close to home.
As a yoga teacher, I'll be using my skills to help the fundraising effort. I'll be sharing dates for a London runners recovery workshop in October and a weekend runners retreat on the Suffolk coast in March. Watch this space!
Thank you for your donations - they are so appreciated and every one of you will be helping me cross the finish line in April.
