Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In 2020 I was diagnosed with non Hodgkin's lymphoma after a long stay in hospital I received my chemotherapy at the Renton Unit in Hereford Hospital.
Because of covid I had to attend every treatment and check up on my own but the consultants and nurses made me feel safe and cared for at all times.
I was lucky enough to ring the bell at the end of my treatment knowing my cancer had gone and I was on the journey back to getting back to normal life.
This year I will be celebrating 5 years cancer free and to mark getting to this important milestone I will be walking Coast to Coast (west to East) starting at St.Bee's in Cumbria and walking to Robin Hood's Bay on the North East Coast 190 miles in total.
I'm not doing this alone I will be walking with my Bestie Emily Kingston-Lee, it's going to be tough but a lot of laughing too, it will be 14 days of spending time together that with busy lives we never get.
I would love to raise money for the Renton Unit as they are the reason I am still here to see my 3 children grow up and forge their own lives. Thank you xxxx
