Story
Hello everyone, I saw this challenge the other week pop up on my facebook page as I have done walks before and all sorts to raise money for other charities.
But on Sunday we found out a family member has early on set Dementia that is fairly far on it seems so when this popped up again this morning I thought LET'S DO THIS! I can't be with the family member, but I can try and do my part to help make a difference for everyone out there that is going through it. ❤️
So I am taking part in the March Dog Walking Challenge to support families facing dementia.
Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nurse charity. Our nurses, called Admiral Nurses, provide life-changing care to families affected by all forms of dementia, including Alzheimers disease. They help people with dementia stay independent for longer, and support the people caring for them so they have the strength to cope with the bad days, and the energy to enjoy the good days. They have the time to listen and the knowledge to solve problems, helping families take back control when they are struggling.
