Motiv8 Addiction Services is the Isle of Man charity providing free, confidential, non judgemental support to individuals and families impacted by dependencies to alcohol, drugs, gambling or gaming. Counselling support is offered through one-to-one and group programmes with community outreach. Motiv8 helps people understand their challenges, build resilience and take positive steps towards recovery. Motiv8 provides vital support to families and loved ones, helping them cope and rebuild relationships. Every day, Motiv8 supports people at some of the most difficult points in their lives, offering hope, practical guidance and a path forward. Motiv8 plays a crucial role in improving wellbeing, reducing harm and strengthening the wider community across the Isle of Man. Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Those of you that know me well, will know that at the age of 14 I sadly lost my Mum to Alcoholism. This year marks 10 years since her passing. I am taking part in this years Isle of Man Parish walk to raise funds for the charity Motiv8 as I believe this charity is needed to help individuals and families effected by addiction.

The walk is over a 85 mile course and I am hoping to get as far as I can. (I haven't done this before!).

MOTIV8, formerly the Isle of Man Alcohol Advisory Service is a local registered charity on the Isle of Man (Established in 1978). They have a dedicated team of highly qualified and experienced counsellors who specialise in addictive behaviours. Who are committed to helping clients to make positive changes to their lives with a non-judgemental approach.
