Story
In 2026, I’ll be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon in support of the Miscarriage Association, a cause close to my heart.
I’ve experienced four miscarriages, and despite having a supportive network, I often felt alone, unsure how to talk about what I was going through or how to process it. For so many, miscarriage is a silent grief, one that isn’t spoken about openly and often misunderstood.
The Miscarriage Association is a source of support, information, and understanding for thousands of families. Their work helps break the silence around miscarriage, offers comfort to those grieving, and promotes better medical care and awareness.
Running this race is more than a physical challenge. It’s part of my healing journey after a traumatic few years, including loss, a tough pregnancy, and a difficult recovery. Now I am lucky enough to have my little boy in my arms and I’m ready to turn that pain into something positive. Something that might help someone else feel less alone.
Please donate if you can, whether it’s a little or a lot, and help the Miscarriage Association continue their incredible work. Every step I run will be in honour of the babies we’ve lost, the families who grieve them, and the hope we carry forward.
Thank you so much in advance!
