Manchester Rainbow Race 2025 · 21 September 2025 to 31 October 2025 ·

Manchester Maternal and Fetal Health Research Centre team are holding a Rainbow Race to raise funds for Tommy's.

Story

🏃🏻‍♂️🏃🏼‍♀️Lawrence and Marc will be running in the rainbow race at Platt fields this coming September.

This is in aid of the Tommy's Manchester Rainbow clinic, by whom we have been supported and so very well looked after over the course of our journey. They are running in memory of our precious babies, Louie and Leah, and for our rainbow baby who hasn't arrived just yet!

A rainbow baby is a baby born after pregnancy or infant loss, the phrase coming from the saying "after the storm, comes a rainbow". The idea of the storm refering to the grief that comes with the loss of a baby. 🕊️🌈

We could not speak more highly of the Rainbow Clinic and would like to be able to help raise money so they can continue to support other families as they navigate their way through baby loss and pregnancy after loss too.
