At the end of 2024 my beloved husband Craig was diagnosed with cancer. He passed in January 2025 and is missed beyond any words. This year, I decided I wanted to do something meaningful in his memory to honour the incredible person he was.

I wanted to challenge myself and so I have chosen the ‘Beat the 3 Lochs’ event, which is a 13 mile trek around the beautiful Trossachs. I am grateful to have my friend Faye join me and support me along the way as we walk this trail for Marie Curie, a cause close to both our hearts. Marie Curie supported Craig in his last days and for that I want to give back as much as I can.

Every donation will help Marie Curie provide vital care and support to people living with a terminal illness, and their families at the toughest time.

•£3 helps fund a meal for a patient in one of our hospices.

•£26 helps help fund an hour of bereavement support by phone or webchat.

•£207 helps fund nine hours of overnight nursing care in a patient's home.
