Himmah is Nottingham's largest independent food bank, distributing 1200 food parcels every month and providing 150 weekly hot meals to local people who need help.

As food costs continue to increase, they are struggling to meet basic needs of people in the local area.

The cost of living crisis has pushed people to the edge and there are an increasing number of people using their services for the very first time , people who would never previously have imagined having to rely on a food bank.

We are running as a management team to raise £500. Only one of us is a regular runner - the other 3 of us will be dragging our dodgy knees, wobbly ankles and stiff backs across the finish line...hopefully before the sun starts to set!
