It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. Together we’ll make that possible.

Story

Support the Big Purple Challenge, a dedicated fundraising effort for Pancreatic Cancer UK, TCS London Marathon’s 2025 charity of the year. Our team—Graham Sturge, Claire Short, Simon Short, Jodi Simpson, Paul Owen, Fran Setterfield, Chris Setterfield, Julie Pritchett, Richard Yeeles, and Marcela Bell—will be running the marathon with a bold goal in mind: to break the world record for the fastest marathon run by a 10-person costume, currently 6 hours, 32 minutes, and 5 seconds.

Dressed as test tubes, we aim to raise as much funding and awareness as possible to support crucial research for early detection tests, helping Pancreatic Cancer UK in the fight against the deadliest common cancer. Please support our effort and help make a difference!
