Story
Brain haemorrhages are a devastating form of stroke and can happen without warning.
In 2024, we lost our friend and colleague Pete to a sudden brain haemorrhage. His loss had a huge impact on all of us at Red Tree, and we’re determined to help raise awareness and support efforts to prevent more tragedies like this from happening.
To help raise awareness, we wanted to do something a little different.
Around 80,000 people are hospitalised following a stroke each year in England, so on Thursday 29 October, which is World Stroke Day, our team will be taking on an 80km Runathon from our head office to raise money for the Natalie Kate Moss Trust.
One of the biggest risk factors for stroke and brain haemorrhage is high blood pressure (hypertension). High blood pressure can be detected in a few minutes with a simple blood pressure check.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help us support the Natalie Kate Moss Trust and their vital work. Please donate if you can and help us make every kilometre count.
In memory of Pete.
